This gallery is somhow new territory for me. Actually its my first serious attempt to shoot something other than landscapes. I am always attracted by old graveyards.I like the stillnes there and the stories behing the inscriptions of the tombstones. The sculptures on some graves are of exceptional beauty and the sculptor must have been a great artist. These pictures were taken at the Bergfriedhof in Heidelberg.
