"The way of life can be free and beautiful.

But we have lost the way.

Greed has poisoned men’s souls – has barricaded the world with hate;

has goose-stepped us into misery and bloodshed.

We have developed speed but we have shut ourselves in :

machinery that gives abundance has left us in want.

Our knowledge has made us cynical, our cleverness hard and unkind.

We think too much and feel too little:

More than machinery we need humanity.

More than cleverness we need kindness and gentleness.

Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost.

In the seventeenth chapter of Saint Luke   is written

” the kingdom of God is within man ”

– not one man, nor a group of men – but in all men – in you, the people.

You the people have the power, the power to create machines,

the power to create happiness.

You the people have the power to make life free and beautiful,

to make this life a wonderful adventure".

"Look to this day! For it is life, the very life of life.

In its brief course lie all the verities and realities of your existence.

The bliss of growth, the glory of action, the splendor of beauty;

For yesterday is but a dream and tomorrow is only a vision;

But today well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness,

And every tomorrow a vision of hope.

Look well therefore to this day!

Such is the salutation of the dawn!

Adventure begins with you, personally.  It is in the way

you look at things.  It is the mental stance you take

as you face your day.  It is finding magic in things.

It is talking with people and discovering their inner goodness.

It is the thrill of feeling a part of the life around you.

The attitude of adventure will open things up for you.

The world will become alive with new zest and meaning.

You’ll becomemore aware of the beauty everywhere.

Nothing will seem unimportant.

Everything will be revealed as having pattern and purpose.

You can't connect the dots looking forward;

you can only connect them looking backwards.

So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.

You have to trust in something -- your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever.

This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.

When I started loving myself

I’ve understood that I’m always and at any given opportunity

in the right place at the right time.

And I’ve understood that all that happens is right –

from then on I could be calm.

Today I know: It’s called TRUST.

When I started to love myself I understood how much it can offend somebody

When I try to force my desires on this person,

even though I knew the time was not right and the person was not ready for it,

and even though this person was me.

Today I know: It’s called “RESPECT”.

When I started loving myself

I could recognize that emotional pain and grief

are just warnings for me to not live against my own truth.

Today I know: It’s called AUTHENTICALLY BEING.

When I started loving myself

I have stopped longing for another life

and could see that everything around me was a request to grow.

Today I know: It’s called MATURITY.

When I started loving myself

I’ve stopped depriving myself of my free time

and I’ve stopped sketching further magnificent projects for the future.

Today I only do what’s fun and joy for me,

what I love and what makes my heart laugh,

in my own way and in my tempo.

Today I know: it’s called HONESTY.

When I started loving myself

I’ve escaped from all what wasn’t healthy for me,

from dishes, people, things, situations

and from everyhting pulling me down and away from myself.

In the beginning I called it the “healthy egoism”,

but today I know: it’s called SELF-LOVE.

When I started loving myself

I’ve stopped wanting to be always right

thus I’ve been less wrong.

Today I’ve recognized: it’s called HUMBLENESS.

When I started loving myself

I’ve refused to live further in the past

and to worry about my future.

Now I live only at this moment where EVERYTHING takes place,

like this I live every day and I call it CONSCIOUSNESS.

When I started loving myself

I recognized, that my thinking

can make me miserable and sick.

When I though requested for my heart forces,

my mind got an important partner.

I call this connection today HEART WISDOM.

We do not need to fear further discussions,

conflicts and problems with ourselves and others

since even stars sometimes bang on each other

and create new worlds.

Today I know: THIS IS LIFE!

Winter is on my head but eternal spring is in my heart.

The nearer I approach the end,

the plainer I hear around me the immortal symphonies of the world to come.

For half a century I have been writing my thoughts in prose and verse;

but I feel that I have not said one-thousandth part of what is in me.

When I have gone down to the grave

I shall have ended my life's work;but another day will begin the next morning.

Life closes in the twilight but opens with the dawn.

"To dream anything that you want to dream.

That's the beauty ofthe human mind.

To do anything that you want to do.

That is the strength of the human will.

To trust yourself to test your limits.

That is the courage to succeed".
