Karibu, welcome to Tanzania.
This gallery will take you on a safari through Tarangire Nationalpark and one of the greatest wonders in the world, the Ngorongoro Crater.
Ngorongoro Crater is a volcanic caldera, formed when a giant volcano exploded and collapsed on itself two or three million years ago.
The explosion formed a crater 20 kilometers in diameter and 600 meter deep.
The crater floor is now home of approximately 25.000 large animals,and the largest density of mammalian predators in Africa.
In 1979 Ngorongoro Crater became a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Special thanks to our guide Joel who gave us a lot of insight into the eco system of Ngorongoro Crater.
Without his help we wouldn`t have seen half of the animals and this gallery would be rather empty.
