Pictures from a trip to northern California and Oregon. The locations we visited during this trip were rather unique and completely different in their appearance.
The vertical granite walls of Yosemite Valley, the colorful mountains of the Eastern Sierra Nevada, Lunar like Mono Lake, the fantastic Lava Beds at Lassen Volcanic Nationalpark and finally the lush green forrests of the Columbia River Gorge with its enchanting waterfalls. In Oregon we also stopped at some locations Lewis and Clark had visited about 200 years ago on their epic journey west. This journey was one of the most daring adventures of all time and it was very interesting to learn more about it.
On this trip we were accompanied by our friend Doug, who was great company and lots of fun during the two weeks. Thanks Buddy.
